What mattered most to me in completing the life above reproach program was making a commitment and seeing it through to the end. You can never learn everything in one pass, but each time you return to God’s word, you discover truths you may missed before. That is one of the beautiful aspects of Jesus’ teachings—there is always more to learn about how a Christian life is meant to be lived.

Our weekly lessons work centered on the life of Christ, His teachings, the miracles performed, and the lives of His disciples. We learned that just as those who came before us faced trials, we too encounter challenges—and through Christ, we can become overcomers and experience a truly joyful and victorious life.

Each week, we look an honest inventory of our lives, examining whether we truly live in Christ. This process helped us recognize the areas we still needed to surrender fully to our Lord and Savior.

I would encourage all believers to become more involved in the programs like this because we have not yet arrived. We are called to continually surrender, remain accountable—first to Christ and then to one another, helping others in their Christian walk. We must learn to both give and receive. When others see you pursuing a genuine walk with Christ, it encourages them to do the same.
