Testimony I Peter 5:6-7

“Therefore, humble yourself under the mighty hand of

God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all

your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”

The above scripture is what I call my life scripture.  My very first testimony to “captives set free.org,” was written in 2017.  Back then, I felt that I needed to write a small book.  Today, I understand that all I needed to do is humble myself under the hand of God and cast my fears, my insecurities, and my cares upon Him.

Just give it all to Him for He cares for you.  All the big or small secrets that kept us captive, the things that we are ashamed of, and those secrets that we dare not admit to or tell another. Give Him your addictions and the molestations that you have survived all those times you felt abandoned because your father or your mother weren’t there.  So, when it seems dark in your life, just humble yourself and give it all to God.  I say, “give them all to God, for He cares for you.”

I have been in prison for 23 years.  When I started this journey, I had no hope, and I felt that I would never leave prison alive.  When I started to humble myself under the mighty hand of God, and gave God all my cares and I believed His word and trusted Him.  A lot has changed since then, and I now can see being released this year.
