LAR Session July 11, 2024 – April 7, 2025 – Hamid K Zaseh
MY TESTIMONY
I was born and raised in the Country of Iran where most of the people are Muslims. All the time, I felt God was watching over me and guiding me. At the age of 21, I had a dream about Jesus Christ for the first time. I could not talk to anybody for three days; I was in shock because of that dream. In that dream, He told me, “Take are of yourself,” three times, but I did not understand the spiritual meaning of His message for me for a long time.
From my birth up to age of 25, before I moved to California, God saved my life several times. I did not acknowledge such a blessing until the age of 42. I was accused of murder and put in prison for life without possibility of parole. Now seven years in prison have passed, and one day I was on my knees asking God for help again. I started to read the Bible, but I didn’t understand anything until one Christian told me that any time I pray, ask God in the name of Jesus Christ for help.
I had a dream about Joseph, the son of Jacob. In my dream, I am standing in front of a big mirror. Normally I would be looking into this mirror and seeing a reflection of myself, but the only image I saw was of Joseph as a reflection inside of the mirror. I recognized him and called him, and I talked to his image in the mirror, but he did not answer me!
Seven months later, I was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ as my Savior. I became officially a Christian and seriously studied the Bible for a life in Christ. I signed up at the Christian College to learn more and become a Christian Counselor. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry and Theology. Then prison authority transferred me to a level two yard. I continued my studies in the Christian University by God’s will. I received three Master’s Degrees in Ministry, Divinity, and Theology.
In January 2025, by the Christ Jesus’s permission, I signed up to continue my studies for a Doctorate of Theology, and continue to be of assistant to the prison pastor. I do know that God has a purpose for my life, and that the Lord used me in prison to guide several lost men to Christ Jesus up to now. I am blessed to be doing His ministry until He opens the prison door for me to continue His ministry outside of prison also. AMEN.
