MY TESTIMONY, LOVE YOU LORD

I wanted I was getting into trouble using drugs and driving. I received four DUIs within three months in the year 2001, so I had to hire a lawyer.

I went to Cornerstone Church a few times and the Pastor Jim Franklin had a book that I purchased.  And I left it on the corner table in my bedroom.  And it stayed there until my lawyer said I needed to go to court for my verdict.

That night I opened the book that I had received from the pastor, and I just read the “Introduction”, and it took me to the Bible, Romans chapter 8:18-30. Then I tried to sleep through the night.

In the morning, I sat down on my couch, and I explained to God, today, I must tell my work that I have been using drugs and let them know I am in trouble. I explained to God, now, I must be on probation where I must test twice a week (as far as I knew).  Then I went to take a shower.

And that’s when He took it from me, God took it from me. My hands went up. I could fee everything going out and Jesus coming in, Thank You Jesus, from the bottom of my toes to the top of my head. Thank You Jesus! Thank You Jesus! Thank You Jesus!

I really don’t know how long that lasted, but now I’m in the Superior Court of Fresno, California and praying to God.

Verdict. They lost my blood vile so that they could not charge me for the fourth DUI; and I was already taking care of one DUI.  So, the judge had me take the 18-month program, and I needed to put the interlock system in my car.  The interlock system was barely coming out and I did not do that to my vehicle, it was very expensive.

Cornerstone Church is where I was baptized, giving all the Glory to the Lord Jesus Christ, my Savior.

The book I purchased:  Trusting God Strengthen and Encouragement for Trouble Times.

In 2025, since I started Life Above Reproach eight months ago, I have noticed that I am calmer when talking to another person, not arguing.  For instance, regarding my health insurance, I’ve been talking to them for three months, January, February, and March, but they continue to deny my credit card payments.  Hopefully, they will correct my situation.

God is still working on me . . . . Amen
